Career History

Mike Whichello has now returned to the clinic, having spent some time away working in London.
He has a wealth of experience of working with patients from a variety of backgrounds, including chronic pain.
However, Mike’s specialist area of interest is in Sports Injury Management. He has worked with a number of Olympians in the past, and travelled with Team GB to Sao Paulo to the Paralympic School Games in the lead up to the Rio Paralympics. Mike has also worked closely with scholarship athletes in a variety of Sports at whilst working at Sheffield Hallam University, including Tennis, Hockey, Athletics, Swimming, Triathlon and Diving.
Mike previously worked as part of the England Hockey set up, and was part of the successful campaigns as National League Champions with Beeston Hockey Club. He will be working closely with Beeston Hockey Club again during this years’ campaign.
Although he has a specialist interest in sports injury management, Mike has a vast amount of experience in managing more day to day issues, such as lower back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain. Off the back of very positive outcomes and feedback, mike is often highly recommended, and gets a great deal of ‘word of mouth’ referrals.
On a personal level Mike likes to keep active, which he does mostly through Crossfit, Football, running and Swimming.
