Advance Physiotherapy have in place working relationships with many different organisations.

We would be pleased to discuss the requirements of any organisation who wish to provide any Physiotherapy or sports massage support for their employees or athletes.

Great Britain Short Track Speed Skating Team

Team GB Speed Skating Team - Advance Physiotherapy

Mike is the lead Physiotherapist for the Great Britain Short Track Speed Skating team. BBC East Midlands team of the year 2008.

Mike Brownlow has been the Team Physiotherapist for the British Short Track team since 2006.

Mike first got involved with the team when he was working for the English Institute of Sport (EIS). Upon leaving the EIS, the Performance Director of the speed skaters requested that Mike continue to work for them as they prepare for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

The picture supplied is the 2010/2011 squad photograph including the three coaching staff. Mike makes up part of an extensive support network that includes Physiotherapy/Sports Medicine, Sport Science, Nutrition and Psychological support.

Advance Physiotherapy have teamed up with the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board (NCB) to provide Physiotherapy services at discounted rates to players of NCB accredited and emerging clubs as well as County and Sub County players*.

Principia

NHS Patients – Advance Physiotherapy are able to offer NHS Physiotherapy treatment to patients of GP practices in the Principia Group. (West Bridgford and Ruschliffe region) You must be referred by your GP to qualify for this service. More details are available from your GP practice or the Principia Website.

Notts County Council

We have been treating referrals from Notts County Council occupational Health department for several years now. We work in conjunction with the Council to assist in maximising the musculoskeletal health of their employees and assist their recovery and return to work where relevant.

Nottinghamshire City Council

As with the County Council, Advance Physiotherapy provides similar services to City Council employees.

We are continually looking to offer our services to other organisations and are currently in the process of negotiating with other local agencies. Further details will be posted once confirmed.
